Arsenal are also interested in Kovacic as they seek to bolster their midfield options.

*Gazzetta dello Sport* also claim that Inter may be interested in a deal involving Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva as the Italian club wait for a bid in excess of £18 million.

Kovacic is a dynamic 21-year-old who already has almost 20 appearances for Croatia.
