# Leipzig said to be looking for Keita replacement

RB Leipzig have begun their search for Naby Keita’s successor, according to reports in Germany tonight, indicating that they could be ready to part ways with the Liverpool target.

The Reds have been hot on the trail of Keita in recent times, and are evidently keen to bring him to Anfield this summer. He is one of Jurgen Klopp’s prime targets in this window, along with Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk, and he’s not likely to pack in his pursuit of the Guinean international without a fight.

Liverpool have already lodged two offers, with their most recent one rejected at around £65m. Reports of a third bid worth €83m being lodged have proven to be false since last night’s claims from Bild.

However, they [claim](https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/rb-leipzig/provoziert-keita-sein-leipzig-aus-52658700.bild.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter#fromWall) again today that Keita is lacking motivation in training sessions with the Bundesliga club, and is often isolated from his teammates.

Leipzig’s director Ralf Rangnick is claimed to be eyeing up successors for his enigmatic midfielder, which is sure to be positively interpreted by the Reds and their fans.
