# Liverpool agree fee with Birmingham City for Calum Scanlon

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/12/22/gary-neville-hails-unbelievable-liverpool-star-andy-robertson/) have had a bid accepted by Birmingham City for England youth international Calum Scanlon, as reported by [The Times](https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/liverpool-agree-fee-with-birmingham-city-for-england-youth-international-calum-scanlon-qcsbd30xw).

The 15-year-old and his family are now believed to be considering whether a move to the famed [Reds academy](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/12/21/liverpool-transfe-rumours-no-january-loan-deals-for-neco-and-rhys-williams/) would be the next best step.

Scanlon can play on the left of defence or midfield and has already represented England at under-15 level.
