# Liverpool aiming to ‘seduce’ Kylian Mbappe in bid to sign him this summer

Liverpool are ready to ‘seduce’ Kylian Mbappe in a bid to bring him to the club, according to [https://as.com/futbol/2021/01/05/primera/1609874395_962872.html](https://as.com/futbol/2021/01/05/primera/1609874395_962872.html)*[AS](https://as.com/futbol/2021/01/05/primera/1609874395_962872.html)* \[via [https://sportwitness.co.uk/claim-liverpool-real-position-fight-signing-reds-rival-club-star-duos-transfer/](https://sportwitness.co.uk/claim-liverpool-real-position-fight-signing-reds-rival-club-star-duos-transfer/)*[Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/claim-liverpool-real-position-fight-signing-reds-rival-club-star-duos-transfer/)*\].

The Reds continue to be [linked](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/11/18/liverpool-willing-to-fight-real-madrid-to-sign-kylian-mbappe/) with the Paris Saint-Germain forward, with Real Madrid also seen as the front-runners to sign him.

Mbappe’s current deal at PSG [expires](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kylian-mbappe/profil/spieler/342229) at the end of the 2021/22 season, and while he could yet extend his stay at the Ligue 1 club, a summer exit also appears likely.

Liverpool are believed to be putting together an enticing package for the 22-year-old, with the report also stating that the Reds have become a ‘great rival’ to Madrid, with regards to both Mbappe and David Alaba.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

I think Liverpool’s potential acquisition rests hugely with the future of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Should one of the Reds’ two star attackers leave in the summer, it would free-up money for them to fund a huge move for the Frenchman.

It is almost impossible to see Mbappe joining and nobody leaving, such is Liverpool’s financial situation, but Salah has [hinted](https://en.as.com/en/2020/12/19/football/1608337060_026566.html) at a move to Madrid or Barcelona.

The number of reports linking Liverpool with the France World Cup winner does suggest that there is genuine interest, though.
