The attacking midfielder is [widely seen](https://footballwhispers.com/blog/why-europes-elite-are-tracking-dominik-szoboszlai/) as one of Europe’s most exciting young players, excelling for Salzburg in recent times.

Szoboszlai already has [two Champions League goals](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/369875/Show/Dominik-Szoboszlai) in three appearances this season, not to mention scoring a [dramatic winner](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/11/13/liverpool-fans-urge-reds-to-sign-dominik-szoboszlai/) for Hungary against Iceland last week, sending them to Euro 2020.

The 20-year-old has been [tipped](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/milan-concorrenza-italiana-per-un-obiettivo-a-centrocampo-84593) to join Liverpool in the past and it is now claimed that they are one of a host of top clubs who are monitoring him currently.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

Szoboszlai really does look a special talent and the prospect of him at Liverpool is a mouthwatering one.

The Hungarian is not only fantastic technical footballer – he has an incredible [22 goals and 33 assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/dominik-szoboszlai/alletore/spieler/451276) in just 74 appearances for Salzburg – he is also hard-working off the ball, averaging [1.7 tackles per game](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/369875/Show/Dominik-Szoboszlai) in the UEFA Nations League this season.

Szoboszlai’s release clause is believed to be just £20million, only heightening the need to buy him.

As the report states, he is probably worth around double that and he would represent both a key current and long-term addition at Anfield.
