# Liverpool are favourites to beat Bayern Munich, claims Kimmich

Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich believes Liverpool are the favourites to progress in their Champions League tie.

The two European heavyweights meet at Anfield on Tuesday night, in the first leg of their last-16 clash.

Whether or not Kimmich’s words are simply pre-match mind games is up for debate, but many are tipping Klopp’s men to progress.

They have made Anfield a fortress again and victory over their opponents on Tuesday will put them in a healthy position ahead of the return fixture at the Allianz Arena next month.
