# Liverpool ‘asked to be kept informed’ regarding Youssef En-Nesyri

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/02/22/liverpool-plan-takumi-minamino-lucas-ocampos-swap-deal/) have asked to be kept informed of any transfer developments regarding Sevilla striker [Youssef En-Nesyri](https://readwestham.com/2021/02/19/west-ham-fans-discuss-possible-youseff-en-nesyri-boost/), according to a report from [90min.com](https://www.90min.com/posts/exclusive-sevilla-offer-premier-league-target-youssef-en-nesyri-new-contract).

The report outlines the La Liga club’s plans to offer the Moroccan a new deal in order to [stave off suitors from around Europe](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9226203/West-Ham-set-ignite-35m-rated-Sevilla-star-Youssef-En-Nesyri-summer.html), whilst claiming that the Reds, as well as arch-rivals Manchester United, have both declared an interest.

En-Nesyri was the top target for West Ham in the January transfer window, when the Londoners [had a bid rejected](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/sevilla-monchi-west-ham-bid-en-nesyri-striker#:~:text=Sevilla%20rejected%20West%20Ham's%20bid,Sebastien%20Haller's%20move%20to%20Ajax.) for the 23-year-old. With [increased eyes around Europe](https://dailymorocco.com/youssef-en-nesyri-could-sign-with-ac-milan-or-as-roma/) watching the striker, who has [13 goals in La Liga](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/leistungsdaten/spieler/433049) this season, Sevilla are determined to tie him down with the offer of a bumper new deal.

Recently, Liverpool legend Luis Garcia [spoke of his admiration](https://africanfootball.com/news/784380/Former-Barcelona-Liverpool-star-in-awe-of-Youssef-En-Nesyri) for how the [acclaimed finisher](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/323547/Show/Youssef-En-Nesyri) has performed this term, describing En-Nesyri as being ‘on fire’.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Having at one stage [led Lionel Messi](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jan/25/en-nesyri-is-outscoring-messi-at-sevilla-the-club-where-players-grow) in the La Liga scoring charts, the Moroccan will be on numerous radars this summer, especially should [Sevilla fail to qualify](https://www.skysports.com/la-liga-table) for the Champions League.

There certainly seems to be a tipping point on the horizon for Liverpool’s strike force this summer, with [ever-increasing noises surrounding](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-roberto-firmino-problem-solution-19884410) Roberto Firmino’s form in particular.

Jurgen Klopp will almost certainly look to [add another dimension](https://theathletic.co.uk/1965482/2020/08/05/liverpool-front-three-salah-mane-firmino-analysis-klopp/) to his ranks, and En-Nesyri’s meteoric rise will likely have caught the eye.
