# Liverpool boosted as reported target Bukayo Saka reveals UCL ‘dream’

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/02/10/pundit-backs-liverpool-as-jurgen-klopp-enjoys-strongest-squad/) may have been handed a boost in any possible pursuit of Arsenal forward [Bukayo Saka](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/02/03/virals-liverpool-watching-the-progress-of-arsenal-star-bukayo-saka/).

The Reds, along with Premier League rivals Manchester City, have recently been [linked](https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/4584272/haalandmbappe--and-ronaldo-who-could-move-in-a-blockbuster-summer-transfer-window) with the 20-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window.

Citing a possible move should the North London club [miss out on qualification for the Champions League](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table), the talented attacker has offered a personal insight into his ambitions.

In an interview with [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11670/12519066/arsenals-bukayo-saka-says-heart-was-always-set-on-joining-gunners-as-youngster-despite-tottenham-trial), Saka admitted that performing amongst the elite on the continent would be a ‘dream’ come true.

> I think the Champions League creates so many special nights and it’s a dream for me still to experience one of them and hopefully many more of them.

This comes as a separate report from the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10490831/Arsenal-struggle-Bukayo-Saka-sign-new-long-term-deal-without-Champions-League.html) claims that there is a growing ‘concern’ at Arsenal surrounding the future of the [14-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/bukayo-saka/nationalmannschaft/spieler/433177/verein_id/3299) England starlet at the club.

This season Saka – described as a [‘revelation’](https://talksport.com/football/991156/) by Ray Parlour – has [scored seven times and registered four assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/bukayo-saka/leistungsdaten/spieler/433177) in 26 appearances across all competitions.

### READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT

Valued at £58.5million and under contract at the Emirates Stadium until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/bukayo-saka/marktwertverlauf/spieler/433177)), any move for the precocious talent would be a vastly expensive one.

So young and [immensely versatile](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/bukayo-saka/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/433177), Saka would be a superb addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad and one the German would undoubtedly welcome with open arms.

Already a [consistent performer](https://www.premierleague.com/players/49481/Bukayo-Saka/stats) at the Premier League level, should Arsenal indeed fail to reach the top four this term then Liverpool must act in the summer.
