# Liverpool considering shock move to sign Son Heung-min

Liverpool are being linked with a surprise move for Tottenham attacker Son Heung-min.

According to reports in Germany from Sport1, as cited on the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-manchester-united-considering-moves-12800138), the Spurs star has emerged as an unlikely target, with Mauricio Pochettino ready to sell several first-team players this summer.

The likes of Moussa Dembele and Toby Alderweireld are being linked with moves away from the club, with Spurs looking to raise further funds for their own transfer business.

However, it is unclear how willing they would be to let Son leave the club, having played a key role in their success over the last two seasons.

The report claims that Liverpool face an uphill battle to convince their Premier League rivals to sell.

The Reds are in the market to strengthen in the final third and have also been linked with the likes of Nabil Fekir and creative Ajax midfielder Hakim Ziyech.
