# Liverpool demand £15m from CSKA Moscow for Awoniyi

CSKA Moscow are interested in signing Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi this summer.

According to The Times journalist Paul Joyce, CSKA Moscow have already enquired about a potential deal for the forward.

Joyce claims that Liverpool have told CSKA that they will have to shell out £15m if they want to bring the talented striker to Russia ahead of next season.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan to Gent in the Belgian league, but failed to score in 16 appearances in the First Division.

This was after he scored 10 goals in all competitions for fellow Belgian outfit  Royal Excel Mouscron during the 2017/18 season on loan from the Reds.

Awoniyi joined Liverpool’s academy set-up in 2015, but is yet to make his senior debut for Jurgen Klopp’s team – having been sent out on loan to four different clubs.
