# Liverpool eye move for versatile Marseille youngster Boubacar Kamara

The 21-year-old is a versatile player capable of shining in defence or midfield and he has made [eight appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/boubacar-kamara/profil/spieler/394327) for France Under-21s.

Marseille will know that this summer will be their last chance to realistically earn a big fee for Kamara’s services and it will be interesting to see if Liverpool genuinely view him as a strong option to come in.

His ability to thrive in defence and midfield could certainly appeal, much in the same way Fabinho has impressed in both roles.
