# Liverpool eye summer swoop for Leon Bailey

Despite still having two huge games left to play in their season, Liverpool have already begun planning for the future and have drawn up a shortlist of transfer targets for the summer.

According to the [Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5715377/Liverpool-identify-Bordeaux-winger-Malcom-summer-target.html), one of the names on their shortlist is Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey.

The 20-year-old has been in good form for the German side this season, scoring 12 goals in 33 games, whilst getting a further six assists, and that form has led to a lot of speculation about his future.

Manchester City are reportedly keen to sign the Jamaican U23 international, whilst Chelsea are also said to be keeping an eye on him too.

Liverpool are looking to add to their attacking depth this summer and it seems like they want players with pace, and Bailey certainly has that in abundance.

The Mail also claim that Bordeaux’s Malcom and Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic are on the Reds’ shortlist of targets, along with Bailey.
