# Liverpool face competition from Bayern in Chiesa pursuit

Liverpool could face competition from Bayern Munich in their pursuit of Federico Chiesa.

According to recent [reports](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2019/03/22/liverpool-will-have-to-pay-e100m-to-sign-chiesa/), the winger is attracting interest from the Reds following his impressive displays this term for Fiorentina.

The Italian club hold their attacker in high esteem, however, and it is [claimed](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2019/03/22/liverpool-will-have-to-pay-e100m-to-sign-chiesa/) that they will not sanction the departure of Chiesa unless their valuation of €100 million is met this summer.

Liverpool are understood to be interested in securing the winger’s services in the near future, but according to a report from La Repubblica, as cited by [Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/fiorentina-anche-bayern-monaco-e-liverpool-su-chiesa-75792), they will face stiff competition.

Inter Milan and Juventus have retained long-standing interests in signing Chiesa, while Bayern Munich are believed to have joined the race to land the Italy international.

The 21-year-old has found the back of the net on 12 occasions so far this season, with six to his name in Serie A and another six in Coppa Italia fixtures.
