# Liverpool fans are furious with Boxing Day kick-off time against Leicester

Liverpool will travel to Leicester City on Boxing Day for an 8pm kick-off, according to the *[Times.](https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/premier-league-game-at-8pm-on-boxing-day-7kkdh9rms?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1571268419)*

All nine Premier League games taking place will be shown exclusively on Amazon Prime, with the Reds’ clash at the King Power Stadium rounding off the action.

It is a controversial decision, considering how difficult travel can be on Boxing Day, with fixtures on that day often pitting geographically-close sides against each other.

These supporters have let their feelings be known on Twitter, with much anger on show.

### Read Liverpool Verdict

Sadly, it sums up how money-driven the modern game is, with the 8pm kick-off time solely to please those showing the game live.

Not nearly enough consideration for supporters has been taken into account, which is an all too common theme.

Having all the Boxing Day games at either 12.30pm or 3pm makes the most sense, but the Premier League is dictated by television companies.
