# Liverpool fans are overjoyed after Thiago is seen back in Reds training

Some Liverpool supporters are absolutely delighted after Thiago took part in training on Thursday.

The 29-year-old was an incredibly exciting summer signing from Bayern Munich, with few more high-profile players arriving in the club’s recent history.

Unfortunately, Thiago has suffered a frustrating start to life at Anfield, making just [two appearances](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/74939/Show/Thiago), against Chelsea and Everton.

In that time, the Spaniard has shown his [world-class](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/gary-neville-explains-message-world-22698016) ability, but it has been such a shame to see him sidelined with the [injury](https://readliverpoolfc.com/?p=110110) he sustained at Goodison Park.

Thiago was in the stands to watch Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-1 on Wednesday evening, and on Thursday, the club’s official Twitter account [posted](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1339608832083898369?s=20) a photo of him in training.

That suggests the midfielder’s return may be imminent, acting as a major boost to anyone of a Reds persuasion.

These Liverpool fans took to Twitter to express their delight at seeing Thiago back on the training pitch.
