# Liverpool fans aren’t keen on Reds signing Traore from Wolves

Adama Traore has enjoyed an impressive season for Wolves, scoring [four goals and laying on seven assists](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/140088/Show/Adama-Traor%C3%A9), too.

It is a noticeable improvement from 2018/19, when the winger managed just [one apiece](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/140088/History/Adama-Traor%C3%A9) in the Premier League.

Three of those goals came against Manchester City, aiding Liverpool’s title bid in the process.

His [double at the Etihad](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49868094) earned Wolves a famous win earlier in the campaign, and he scored in the [3-2 win](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50862383) over the champions at Molineux in December, too.

According to reports in the [*Telegraph*](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/02/05/wolves-braced-adama-traore-interest-clubs-expected-go-summer/), Wolves are ‘braced’ for summer bids for Traore, with top clubs mooted as being interested.

Liverpool have been [linked](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/01/07/liverpool-among-three-clubs-interested-in-signing-adama-traore/) with the 24-year-old in the past and they could be considered an option for the former Barcelona man.

Despite Traore’s improved form, the idea of him in a Reds shirt still doesn’t sit well with some fans.

These Liverpool supporters took to Twitter to reveal their thoughts on the club signing him, responding to a [question](https://twitter.com/HenryJackson87/status/1225398105996189697?s=20) I posed.

> Nope. Decent bloke but just a beefy Walcott/Redmond/Aaron Lennon/Shaun Wright Phillips type player.

> Nope. He’s improved but still not great. Also suits Wolves counter attacking style and not sure he’d move well to a possession dominant team. Also plays in phases.

> Nope, wouldn’t be as effective playing a different style of football imo

> Nope. Fairly one dimensional player. Would prefer a fit and happy Shaqiri.
