# Liverpool fans confident that Fabinho will do well in place of Henderson

Liverpool midfielder and captain Jordan Henderson has been[ruled out](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/387691-jordan-henderson-injury-details-confirmed) of the team’s clash against Watford on Saturday.

The Englishman [suffered an injury](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/387691-jordan-henderson-injury-details-confirmed)during last week’s UEFA Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid in Spain.

Manager Jurgen Klopp[confirmed](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/388475-watford-v-liverpool-team-news) that Hendo will miss the league encounter but Brazilian Fabinho believes that the captain’s absence will provide a good chance for other players to step up and show their quality.

The defensive midfielder, who is valued at £63m by[Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fabinho/leistungsdaten/spieler/225693), had an injury earlier this season and Henderson filled in for him. Now it is time for the former Monaco man to do the same for his captain.

[Many fans](https://twitter.com/1CrimsonRoad/status/1233318221941485568)believe that Henderson’s leadership was missed during their last league match, which they won 3-2 at Anfield against West Ham United.

However, some fans are confident that Fabinho is good enough to fill in the captain’s shoes against the Hornets and took[to Twitter](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1233317500542226432) to give the player some confidence ahead of the clash.
