# Liverpool Fans Go Crazy Over Harvey Elliott Wonder Goal

On-loan [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/12/02/fresh-report-claims-liverpool-are-keen-on-signing-ozan-kabak-in-january/) winger [Harvey Elliott](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/11/25/harvey-elliott-injured-blackburn-tony-mowbray/) scored a [wonder goal](https://twitter.com/TheAnfieldWrap/status/1334239921620606981) during Wednesday night’s Championship action for Blackburn Rovers, where the 17-year-old is spending the season.

Returning from an [injury layoff](https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18895658.rovers-issue-injury-update-liverpool-loanee-harvey-elliott/) in keeping with his [Liverpool connection](https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/liverpool-injury-news-latest-list-alisson-thiago-alexander-arnold-robertson-henderson-780156), Elliott [opened the scoring against Millwall](https://www.skysports.com/football/blackburn-vs-millwall/report/429879) in spectacular fashion at Ewood Park and left many Reds fans in awe of the youngster.

Signed by Liverpool from Fulham in 2019 initially on a free – the club were ultimately [made to pay compensation](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/liverpool-fc-news-harvey-elliott-tribunal-fee-amount-a9610961.html) – Elliott has had a [taste of first team action](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harvey-elliott/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/565822/verein/31) under Jurgen Klopp and has shown off his impressive talents already.

Still a teenager and with game-time far from a formality at Anfield – especially with the arrival of [Diogo Jota](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/12/02/diogo-jota-excited-feeling-the-anfield-effect/) – the England under-17 international headed to Blackburn this summer and has since [made a huge impact](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harvey-elliott/leistungsdaten/spieler/565822) at the Lancashire club.

Previously described by Klopp as an [‘exceptional talent’](https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/eight-quotes-on-liverpool-hot-prospect-harvey-elliott-a-special-talent/) – and he has seen a few – the teenager looks to have a very bright future ahead of him.

Here’s how Liverpool fans reacted to the strike, with illustrious names like [Lionel Messi](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSanJ5swYBM) and [Mohamed Salah](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJ8XGUgvoAM) bandied about in comparison…
