Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott registered a hat-trick of goals and assists on the day, respectively, showcasing their attacking brilliance and highlighting why they are such highly-rated figures at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Elliott [made the move](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49143438) to Liverpool from Fulham last summer and quickly caught the eye in an impressive debut against [MK Dons](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4z6jvVxx5zk) in the Carabao Cup.

He has gone to make [seven first-team appearances](https://www.lfchistory.net/Players/Player/Profile/1337) in total this season, playing his part in the Reds getting past Shrewsbury in the replay, too.

These Liverpool supporters heaped praise on Jones and Elliott on Twitter, hailing their performances on Monday.
