# Liverpool fans laud ‘unreal’ Kaide Gordon performance on social media

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2022/01/09/pundit-tips-unfamiliar-liverpool-side-to-progress-in-fa-cup-clash/) youngster Kaide Gordon became the club’s youngest ever FA Cup goalscorer as the Reds overcame Shrewsbury Town [4-1](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59911414) at Anfield.

Despite falling behind to their [League One](https://www.skysports.com/league-1-table) visitors, Jurgen Klopp’s side went through the gears to eventually cruise into the fourth round.

Gordon earned a [7.0 Sofascore rating](https://www.sofascore.com/player/kaide-gordon/1096447) in a performance containing 54 touches, four attempted dribbles and 27 accurate passes.

This season the former Derby County academy prospect has now [scored three times and provided two assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kaide-gordon/leistungsdaten/spieler/732119) in 14 appearances across all competitions at senior and youth levels.

The calmness and composure in which the teenager finished off his goal can only be compared to that of [Mohamed Salah](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/12/20/simon-jordan-calls-for-an-end-to-afcon-madness/) in a Liverpool shirt.
