# Liverpool fans mock Bernardo Silva after pointed social media post

Some Liverpool fans have mocked Bernardo Silva on Twitter, following the Manchester City’s latest social media post.

Bernardo instantly became a villain in the eyes of many Reds last season, when he failed to applaud Jurgen Klopp’s title-winning players onto the pitch at the Etihad.

While the rest of City’s players did the guard of honour in respectful fashion, the Portuguese was almost walking back off the pitch as Jordan Henderson and his teammates arrived on it.

The following month, Bernardo then launched into an attack on Liverpool fans on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/BernardoCSilva/status/1295032534703714309?s=20), labelling them as “pathetic” because of the messages he had received from them.

> And to all Liverpool fans that have nothing else to do than to come to a Man City player account, I’m also sorry for you but for the wrong reasons…😂 pathetic… go celebrate your titles, or try to find a partner, drink a beer with a friend, read a book…🤦🏻‍♂️ so many options!😅

The 26-year-old has now seemingly had a further dig at the Reds, posting a photo of a book about human progress and saying fans on Twitter should give it a read, learning a thing or two from it.

> Definitely recommend! Specially to the massive majority on twitter 😅\

These Liverpool supporters have been quick to react to Bernardo’s rather pointed message, mocking the midfielder’s comments.

> Now then cry baby…dried those tears yet? 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣\
