# Liverpool fans react as returning stars pictured in training

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/03/03/liverpool-willing-to-bid-56million-for-inter-milan-star-nicolo-barella/) fans may feel they’ve had their share of bad luck stories this season [in the way of injuries](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/liverpool-injuries-which-players-are-out-when-will-they/180055299z10c110h1epjsvvad) and can be optimistic about a run-in filled with only positive news.

That was certainly the case this morning as the [Reds’ official Twitter](https://twitter.com/LFC) posted pictures of Diogo Jota and[Fabinho](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/03/02/fabinho-must-face-chelsea-at-centre-back-claims-graeme-souness/) back in training having missed the[2-0 victory](https://www.theguardian.com/football/live/2021/feb/28/sheffield-united-v-liverpool-premier-league-live) over Sheffield United.

The duo were close to making their comebacks on Sunday but [Jota was struck with illness](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/diogo-jota-injury-liverpool-breaking-19759096)and Fabinho was deemed not quite ready.

Ahead of Thursday’s crucial clash with Chelsea at Anfield, with [mammoth top four connotations](https://www.premierleague.com/tables), Jurgen Klopp will be grateful to see some of his stars back in the fold.

Here’s how a plethora of equally grateful Kopites reacted…
