# Liverpool fans rejoice as Jurgen Klopp gives positive update on Reds trio

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/02/05/liverpool-fans-are-desperate-for-ozan-kabak-to-start-against-man-city/) fans will cling to any positive injury update this season as [another key figure has gone down](https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/liverpool-injury-news-latest-list-alisson-thiago-alexander-arnold-robertson-henderson-780156) with one ailment or another throughout the campaign almost on a weekly basis.

However, Jurgen Klopp delivered a relatively optimising prognosis on three important players ahead of Sunday’s clash with Manchester City at Anfield, as communicated via [James Pearce](https://twitter.com/JamesPearceLFC/status/1357672879333257219) on Twitter.

> Twitter: Massive boost for #LFC. Mane and Fabinho back in parts of team training today. Alisson better after illness. (@JamesPearceLFC)

Both Sadio Mane and [Fabinho](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/02/05/alisson-fabinho-and-mane-could-be-available-for-clash-with-man-city/) have been [missing for Liverpool’s last two matches](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-liverpool/ausfallzeiten/verein/31) whilst Alisson Becker was [forced to miss the defeat to Brighton](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/424828-alisson-becker-brighton-illness) in midweek with illness.

Despite [recent setbacks](https://www.skysports.com/liverpool-results), getting the trio back for a game of this magnitude, perhaps with [Liverpool’s title retention hopes](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) on the line, has sparked a wave of optimism among many Kopites on Twitter.

We’ve picked a selection of the best reactions as Klopp’s squad begins to get some resemblance of strength back…
