# Liverpool fans sceptical over Jadon Sancho transfer links

Given [Jadon Sancho](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/02/10/liverpool-target-jadon-sancho-likely-to-leave-borussia-dortmund/)‘s remarkable career to date despite only being 20 years old, links with a summer switch to[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/02/10/jurgen-klopp-sees-raphinha-as-ideal-replacement-for-liverpool-pair/) may have led to many Kopites imploring the club to sign the talented England international.

Instead, perhaps in [light of recent events](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jan/07/liverpool-unlikely-to-sign-defender-due-to-pandemic-impact-says-jurgen-klopp), [reports from Germany](https://sport.sky.de/fussball/artikel/transfer-update-die-show-folge-151-machen-sancho-und-haaland-den-abflug-video/12212763/34828) suggesting that Sancho could swap Borussia Dortmund for the Reds have been met with an assortment of grievances from various Liverpool supporters.

The winger was sublime last season, with a [combined 40 goals and assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jadon-sancho/leistungsdaten/spieler/401173/plus/0?saison=2019), and would enhance [Jurgen Klopp’s attacking options](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/team/first-team) if he came to Anfield, even affording the German an embarrassment of riches on the right wing to compete with Mohamed Salah.

However, with Dortmund [demanding an eye-watering sum](https://talksport.com/football/721816/borussia-dortmund-jadon-sancho-price-man-utd-transfer/) for Sancho, who will likely fetch in the [region of £90m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jadon-sancho/marktwertverlauf/spieler/401173) when sold, plenty of Liverpool fans have almost unequivocally dismissed the potential for a deal.

> A lot of speculation appears to point toward Sancho's departure come the season end. Should Liverpool do everything they can to bring him to Anfield? 🧐🔁 [#LFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/LFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [https://t.co/lvKRVuAjfR](https://t.co/lvKRVuAjfR)
