# Liverpool fans urge Naby Keita to return as he celebrates 26th birthday

A number of Liverpool fans have been urging Naby Keita to return to fitness, as the midfielder celebrates his birthday.

The Guinean turned 26 years of age on Wednesday, with the Reds’ [official Twitter account](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1359404736043171840?s=20) sending him their best wishes.

Keita continues to suffer a frustrating time of things at Liverpool, with [injuries](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/naby-keita/verletzungen/spieler/302215) too often holding him back.

When he arrived from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2018, great things were expected of him, with some tipping him to be a star man for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Keita has been perfectly solid for Liverpool, when available, but it is hard to deny that he has been a little [underwhelming](https://thekopite.org/2020/08/19/naby-keita-needs-big-season-at-liverpool/).

The Guinea international is currently sidelined with his latest setback, not featuring for the Premier League champions since the 7-0 win at Crystal Palace on December 19th.

These Liverpool fans took to Twitter to urge Keita back into the fold as soon as possible, also sending their birthday wishes.
