# Liverpool fear that Fabinho could miss the whole of December

As reported by [Dom King of the Daily Mail](https://twitter.com/dominicking_dm/status/1200180845237194753?s=21), Liverpool are concerned that Fabinho could miss the whole of December with his ankle injury which he picked up during Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Napoli.

King says that the Reds are awaiting the results of a scan but there are fears that he could miss as many of ten games over the busy festive period with the issue as it could keep him sidelined for between four and six weeks.

Fabinho has started the season in great form for Liverpool and if he does miss a long period of time, his absence will be a very big blow.

The Reds do have other players who can play in the ‘number six’ role that Fabinho usually plays, like Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana but none of them are at the level of the Brazilian and with some big games on the horizon, the Reds are going to have to figure out a way to cope without the former Monaco star.
