# Liverpool in talks over big-money kit deal

Liverpool are holding talks with current kit suppliers New Balance regarding a bumper new deal.

The Reds are looking to extend their contract with New Balance in a deal that could see them eclipse Manchester United’s £75m-a-year contract with Adidas.

[The Daily Mail reports](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6526719/Liverpool-talks-new-balance-record-kit-deal-2020-21-season.html) that Liverpool’s current deal runs until the end of the 2019-20 season and the Reds are likely to benefit from much greater financial terms when they come to renew.

Liverpool’s affiliation with New Balance has been in place since 2015 and the club has gone from strength to strength under Jurgen Klopp, with the Reds now challenging for the Premier League title this season.

Should the club manage to surpass the £75 million mark that Manchester United currently earn, they would boast the biggest kit deal in the entire Premier League.

Only Chelsea (£60m) and United currently pocket more than Liverpool each year, but that could all be about to change with talks ongoing.
