# Liverpool interested in summer move for Fernandes

Liverpool are one of a number of top clubs interested in signing Bruno Fernandes this summer.

That’s according to *Record*, via [https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-shown-interest-huge-signing-no-formal-offer-submitted-yet/](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-shown-interest-huge-signing-no-formal-offer-submitted-yet/)*[Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-shown-interest-huge-signing-no-formal-offer-submitted-yet/)*, who claim the Reds are weighing up a summer move for the Sporting CP star.

Fernandes has been linked with the Reds in the past, as Jurgen Klopp looks to add quality in midfield ahead of next season.

No formal bid is believed to have been tabled yet, but Liverpool are keeping an eye on the midfielder, along with the likes of Atletico Madrid and AC Milan.

Sporting won’t refuse to allow him to leave, should the right offer come along, as Fernandes looks towards the next chapter in his career.

He has a reported private release clause of €35million in his contract, rather than the €100million currently being mooted.

Fernandes has won 11 caps for Portugal, scoring once since his debut against Saudi Arabia in November 2017.
