# Liverpool keen on Douglas Costa

Liverpool have reportedly stolen a march in the race to sign Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa this summer.

According to Italian news outlet Tuttosport, as cited by GGFN, the Reds want to sign the Brazil international from Bayern, who appear to be open to letting him leave the club when the summer transfer window opens.

Costa has fallen somewhat out of favour at the Allianz Arena this season and appears to be too far down in the pecking order to make an influence at the club.

Bayern already have a plethora of attacking options at their disposal and it’s looking as though Costa could be surplus to requirements, opening the door for a summer move.

Liverpool could look to add star quality to their attacking ranks this summer in the form of Costa but will know that the competition to sign him will be huge, with Spurs named as a potential suitor.
