# Liverpool lead the race to sign Alisson following talks with agent

Liverpool are leading the race to sign Alisson from Roma this summer following continued talks with the player’s agent.

[Il Tempo, as cited by Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-pole-sign-target-agent-currently-talking-reds-among-clubs/), claim that the player’s agent is speaking to Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid.

All three clubs have been heavily linked with the Brazilian goalkeeper, who enjoyed a standout season in Rome.

The report claims that no official bids have been made for the player, with Roma desperate to keep him at the club.

Roma, who lost Mohamed Salah to Liverpool last summer, are digging their heels in and standing firm in their ambition to keep the player.

Alisson has previously played down talk of a move away from Rome as he prepares for the World Cup, where he is due to be Brazil’s number one.

Liverpool are in the market for a new goalkeeper as Jurgen Klopp looks to replace Loris Karius this summer.
