# Liverpool linked with swoop for Wilfred Ndidi

Liverpool are keen to make a move to sign Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City in the summer, according to [reports](https://newtelegraphonline.com/2018/02/liverpool-break-bank-ndidi-june/).

The Nigerian midfielder has often been touted as a target for the Reds and it seems they are genuinely considering a pursuit of the youngster in the summer, with Jurgen Klopp claimed to be an admirer of his talents.

Ndidi has been a major success at Leicester since arriving in England and has often been a standout performer for them over the course of the last 18 months.

If reports are to be believed, Klopp wants to recruit another central midfielder along with the incoming Naby Keita this summer, with Ndidi emerging as a potential option.

Leicester will be keen to retain the services of their holding midfielder given his importance to the side, but it seems a move certainly could be made by the Reds as they look to bolster their options in the middle of the park.
