# Liverpool linked with ex-Barcelona youngster Dani Olmo

Liverpool are among a number of teams keeping tabs on former Barcelona youngster Dani Olmo.

According to [Croatian outlet Sportske Novosti, as cited on TEAMtalk](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/exciting-la-masia-product-is-new-name-in-frame-for-klopps-liverpool), Liverpool, Milan and Borussia Dortmund are all interested in signing the Dinamo Zagreb winger.

Barcelona also previously tried to re-sign the player, but he decided against the return.

Olmo came through the ranks at Barcelona, featuring in their famous ‘La Masia’ academy, but opted to leave the club for a greater chance of first-team football and it is a decision that appears to have paid off.

The player’s agent Juanma Lopez has confirmed to reporters that Olmo is attracting interest from teams all around Europe.

> I can confirm that Milan and other clubs are following Dani. There are several Italian clubs interested in him, as well as some in England and Spain.

Olmo is a Spanish youth international, but the report claims that Croatia are hopeful about their chances of convincing him to switch alliances.
