# Liverpool linked with Jayden Wildbore

Liverpool are reportedly in the race to sign Jayden Wildbore from Burton Albion.

According to claims in Monday’s printed edition of The Mirror, as cited in a report from [HITC](https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/03/04/do-report-everton-and-liverpool-battling-to-sign-jayden-wildbore/), the Reds are one of three Premier League clubs who have established an interest in signing the youngster.

Wildbore has earned plaudits for his displays at youth level for Burton and despite having failed to break into the first-team picture under Nigel Clough just yet, is attracting interest from some top-flight outfits.

The prospect operates primarily as a striker, and The Mirror reports that the League One club are concerned that they will be unable to cling on to one of their most impressive young talents.

Liverpool are not alone in their interest in signing Wildbore, however, and will face opposition from two other Premier League sides.

Merseyside rivals Everton are noted as potential suitors for the young player, while Fulham are believed to be confident about their chances of signing him from Burton.
