# Liverpool Linked with ‘The New Essien’

**Cagliari midfielder Godfred Donsah is attracting interest from the Premier League according to his agent.**

Reports suggest Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are amongst the clubs that want to recruit the Ghanaian.

Initially it seemed that Juventus were in pole position to sign the 18-year-old but his agent, Olivier Arthur, has denied this when he spoke to *Tuttomercatoweb*.

*“I have to say, I haven’t yet spoken with Cagliari and Juventus”*

Donsah has made 20 appearances for the Serie A side and has scored two goals.

Liverpool may have earmarked him for the future, but whether they will take their interest further remains to be seen.

*“Arsenal, \[Manchester\] City and Liverpool have expressed an interest, but again, there’s nothing official.”*
