# Liverpool looking at young Ukrainian keeper

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is believed to be keen on bringing young Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to Anfield, according to reports from Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, cited by [HITC](https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/01/19/report-liverpool-closely-following-andriy-lunin-face-competition/).

Lunin, 18, has been a regular for Ukrainian club Zorya this season and has drawn the attention of European champions Real Madrid and fellow Premier League side Manchester City.

It is reported that an offer of around €6 million will tempt the Ukranian side into selling the teenager, as Klopp looks to establish a long-term number one on Merseyside.

Lunin has also had European experience during the campaign, as Zorya competed in the Europa League, finishing 3rd in the group stage.

It is still unclear whether Liverpool will go ahead and make a formal offer for the teenager in the current window, however, with European giants Real Madrid and Manchester City monitoring the player’s situation, Klopp may have to move quick in his pursuit of the highly rated youngster.
