# Liverpool make Cheryshev move

Liverpool are interested in acquiring the services of Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev, according to *AS*.

Madrid will be looking to offload the player if they can get an offer between €15-20million and *AS* believe that Liverpool are willing to meet that valuation.

With Rafael Benitez being announced as the new manager of *Los Blancos*, it remains to be seen whether Cheryshev is part of his plans.

Liverpool may also have to agree on a buy-back clause with Real Madrid, similar to Alvaro Morata’s contract with Juventus.

Cheryshev is a product of the Real Madrid academy but has yet to make an appearance for the senior team.

He spent the 2013-14 season on loan at Sevilla but injuries limited to him only five appearances.

After returning to Madrid, he was sent back on loan the next season to Villarreal. He shone for the Yellow Submarines, making more than 25 appearances and scoring four goals and helped them finish sixth in the La Liga.

Back at Madrid once again, Liverpool may feel it’s time to step up their chase for the Russian international.
