# Liverpool make €70m Insigne bid

Liverpool have reportedly launched a €70 million bid to sign Lorenzo Insigne from Napoli in the summer transfer window.

According to reports in Italy from [La Repubblica](https://www.repubblica.it/), as cited on [Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/lorenzo-insigne-liverpool-70m/), the Reds have made an approach to the player’s agent Mino Raiola.

Liverpool have long been [linked](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2018/10/15/liverpool-keeping-tabs-on-napoli-forward-lorenzo-insigne/) with a move for Insigne, with Jurgen Klopp a known admirer.

However, it now appears that the club are ready to step up their interest with a summer bid.

Unfortunately for Liverpool, Sport Witness’ report claims that the player is valued at around €150 million, meaning they’ll need to put their hands in their pockets if they want to secure a summer deal.

Insigne has been linked with several big-money moves away from Napoli through the years, but he has emerged as a key figure in Carlo Ancelotti’s side this season, a factor that will only make it more difficult for the Reds to lure him away from the Serie A side.
