Cillessen is reportedly one of the many goalkeepers that Liverpool have kept tabs on this summer as they go in search of a new number one.

The Reds are in the market for a new goalkeeper following the high-profile errors made by Loris Karius in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen to sign Alisson from Roma, but the Reds will have to compete with both Chelsea and Real Madrid for his signature.

Cillessen could be open to a move away from the Nou Camp this summer, having spent last season as Barcelona’s number two, featuring mainly in the cup competitions.

Recent [reports](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2018/07/16/barcelonas-jasper-cillessen-considering-offer-from-liverpool/) from Spain state that the Dutchman is aware of interest from Liverpool, but could also hold out for a possible move to Chelsea in case Thibaut Courtois joins Real Madrid.
