# Liverpool make signing Malcom a high priority

Liverpool are interested in signing Barcelona winger Malcom and, according to reports from France, the Reds have made signing the Brazilian star a top priority for the next transfer window.

According to Le10Sport, [via TeamTalk](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/euro-paper-talk-liverpool-make-e41m-brazilian-attacker-top-summer-target-spurs-watch-e80m-duo), Liverpool are looking to bring in another forward player in the summer with the futures of both Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi up in the air and Malcom is one of the players they are interested in.

According to the reports, Jurgen Klopp and his recruitment team are convinced that Barca will sell the winger in the summer and they hope to be at the front of the queue for his signature.

Malcom has yet to hit the ground running at Barcelona and, as such, his future is in doubt.

Liverpool have been linked with Timo Werner in recent weeks, along with Malcom, so it remains to be seen which forward player, if any, Liverpool decide to target come the end of the current campaign.
