# Liverpool monitoring West Ham’s Adrian ahead of summer move

Liverpool are reportedly pondering a surprise move for soon to be free agent Adrian.

According to [Goal](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/chukwueze-in-sturridge-out-liverpools-transfer-plans-this/mdta644si0e51rfqm0zpsha83), the Reds are considering a surprise move for the Spaniard, who is out of contract with West Ham next month.

The Hammers aren’t expected to offer the goalkeeper a new deal, with the same report claiming that both Crystal Palace and Bournemouth are also considering a swoop for the experienced keeper.

The 32-year-old has plied his trade in England with the Hammers since 2013, making over 150 appearances in London.

Jurgen Klopp looks set to be active in the market for a back-up shot-stopper to Alisson this summer.

The Reds are set to lose current number two Simon Mignolet this summer, with Loris Karius set to continue his two-year loan spell with Besiktas next season.

A possible move for Adrian could prove to be a smart piece of business by the club, with Adrian’s wage considered to be lower than Mignolet’s.
