# Liverpool ‘not interested’ in Lacazette

Liverpool’s reported interest in Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette appears to be premature.

[Get French Football News](https://twitter.com/GFFN/status/856811457480187904), who cite French Football, claim that Arsenal are the only Premier League team in the running to sign the player this summer.

Liverpool had been linked with a move for the player, as the Reds go in search of an out-and-out striker.

Roberto Firmino has scored 11 league goals this season, but it appears Liverpool will need more firepower up front to compete next season.

Lacazette had been linked with a move to the Premier League last summer but a move did not materialise.

[Borussia Dortmund](https://readbundesliga.com/) have also been linked with a move for the French striker who has netted 31 goals in all competitions this season.

The [Bundesliga](https://readbundesliga.com/) side face the possibility of losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer and see Lacazette as a possible replacement.
