# Liverpool Predicted XI: RB Leipzig (A)

Perhaps mercifully given their [recent struggles](https://www.skysports.com/liverpool-results) in the Premier League, [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/02/15/fabinho-ruled-out-of-liverpools-champions-league-clash-with-rb-leipzig/) will travel to Hungary to [face RB Leipzig](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/match/2020-21/first-team/fixtures-and-results) in the Champions League round of 16 first leg tonight.

[Jurgen Klopp](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/02/15/liverpool-fans-react-to-sensational-jurgen-klopp-press-conference/)‘s side have an [enviable record](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11669/11707170/jurgen-klopps-knockout-record-for-liverpool-should-worry-barcelona) in European knockout competition and the Reds will be looking to put their domestic issues to one side in the Puskas Arena in Budapest, a neutral venue [due to ongoing travel restrictions](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55972117) in Germany.

Injury woes have continued to plague the Reds this term and Klopp confirmed on Monday during an [awe-inspiring press conference](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/klopp-liverpool-press-conference-live-19839427) that he would remain [without the services of Naby Keita](https://twitter.com/JamesPearceLFC/status/1361313273610727430) for the trip. James Milner and Fabinho were [absent from training](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-training-keita-fabinho-breaking-19840593) and are also expected to miss the clash with Leipzig, who [sit second](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/german-bundesliga/table) in the Bundesliga.

Despite ongoing absentees, the Liverpool players must act to save their season, and a [rallying cry from captain Jordan Henderson](https://twitter.com/bbcmerseysport/status/1361318537080541185) issued an immediate call-to-action from the squad.

Here’s how we think the Reds will line up, with just the one change anticipated from [Saturday’s defeat at Leicester](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3429728)…
