# Liverpool Predicted XI: Sheffield United (A)

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/02/27/liverpool-willing-to-sell-xherdan-shaqiri-for-10m-profit/) travel to [Sheffield United on Sunday night](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/match/2020-21/first-team/fixtures-and-results)looking to right their [rapidly sinking season](https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/liverpool/form-guide) once and for all with an important victory in the race for a top-four finish.

While much of the Reds’ frailties this season can be[attributed to regular major injury blows](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/427001-andy-robertson-interview-we-need-to-be-up-for-a-fight-at-sheff-utd), their recent form, in particular, has fallen well below par and Jurgen Klopp’s side are facing an [uphill battle to qualify for the Champions League](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) next term.

In the build-up to the clash with[an all but relegated Sheffield United](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-united-doomed-relegation-must-23248832) at Bramall Lane, the reigning Premier League champions were dealt another sickening injury loss as it was confirmed[captain Jordan Henderson underwent groin surgery](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11669/12229339/jordan-henderson-liverpool-captain-out-until-april-after-undergoing-surgery-on-groin-injury).

It wasn’t all doom and gloom, however, as Naby Keita continued his return to fitness and[Diogo Jota](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/02/26/liverpool-fans-react-as-jurgen-klopp-says-diogo-jota-looks-very-good/), who was [sensational in the early weeks](https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/seven-incredible-stats-about-diogo-jota-after-his-first-liverpool-hat-trick/) of the season, also returned to full training.

Those pair are likely to feature for the Reds and could provide [much-needed impetus](https://breakingthelines.com/tactical-analysis/tactical-analysis-liverpools-struggles-in-front-of-goal-this-season/)at this stage of the campaign which has been laden with adversity.

Here’s how we think Klopp will set his side out…
