# Liverpool Predicted XI: West Ham (A)

[Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/01/30/quiz-name-the-liverpool-centre-backs-of-yesteryear/) will hope to emulate Thursday night’s success in London when they [travel to West Ham](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/match/2020-21/first-team/fixtures-and-results) as they look to further [banish their bad form](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-liverpool/spielplandatum/verein/31) with back-to-back victories.

The Reds returned to their [swashbuckling best against Tottenham](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55846845), and with each of the famed front three getting on the scoresheet in the [last two matches](https://www.skysports.com/liverpool-results), after previously misfiring, there is cause for optimism once more.

Jurgen Klopp isn’t without his problems ahead of this one, however as during the week the Reds lost both [Fabinho](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/01/29/fabinho-ruled-out-west-ham-clash-matip-injury-possibly-not-serious/) and [Joel Matip](https://www.skysports.com/football/tottenham-vs-liverpool/429036), adding to their central defensive woes.

In contrast to Liverpool’s recent struggles, the Hammers – managed by former Everton boss David Moyes – have been [in fine form](https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/west-ham-united/form-guide) of late and have found themselves [realistically aiming for European qualification](https://www.premierleague.com/tables).

Last time out between the teams, it was another current Reds’ absentee, Diogo Jota, who [proved to be the match winner](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/12119830/liverpool-2-1-west-ham-under-par-champions-saved-by-diogo-jotas-late-winner) after a Mohamed Salah penalty had levelled things up following an early Pablo Fornals sucker punch at Anfield.

Ahead of the clash at the London Stadium, we’ve predicted how we think Klopp will line up this evening, with just the one enforced change from the team which [began the win at Spurs](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3429692) on Thursday…
