# Liverpool put off by Milan’s asking price for Donnarumma

Liverpool have reportedly cooled their interest in AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma after discovering the Italian’s valuation.

The Reds are understood by many outlets to be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this summer and it was believed that Donnarumma was a target for the club ahead of next season.

However, it seems they have been forced to look elsewhere, with [Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/donnarumma-il-liverpool-dice-no-alla-super-richiesta-del-milan-13681?utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=account&utm_campaign=autopost) claiming that Liverpool have been put off by Milan’s asking price for their young shot-stopper.

Footballing super-agent Mino Raiola was reportedly orchestrating Donnarumma’s potential move to Anfield but with Milan valuing the goalkeeper between €50-60 million, as per the report, Liverpool are no longer keen.

Donnarumma has established himself as one of Serie A’s best goalkeepers in recent years after securing his place in the starting line-up at San Siro.

Loris Karius has been impressive for Liverpool this season but with Simon Mignolet widely expected to depart, it seems another goalkeeping addition is on the agenda for the Reds.
