# Liverpool reportedly willing to meet Kluivert’s valuation

According to reports from Italy, Liverpool and Tottenham are both willing to meet Ajax’s valuation of their impressive attacker, Justin Kluivert.

The youngster emerged as one of Holland’s most exciting talents last season and attracted the interest of several clubs across Europe, including the likes of Manchester United.

However, Roma had appeared to be in the driving seat for Kluivert’s signature this summer despite having a bid turned down. Reports indicate that while they have upped their total offer for Kluivert to around €15m, Ajax are still demanding a fee in the region of €25m.

As reported by [Football Italia](https://www.football-italia.net/122338/roma-raise-kluivert-offer), though, Corriere dello Sport are led to believe that Liverpool and Spurs are ready and willing to spend the aforementioned amount to bring Kluivert to the Premier League.

The young winger is keen to depart Ajax this summer and a move to the Premier League could beckon, with clubs’ financial power potentially playing a role in Kluivert’s next destination.

Liverpool want to strengthen their attacking options and the recruitment of a player like Kluivert at only €25m could allow them to provide a competent backup for the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane next season.
