# Liverpool to rival Manchester United for Christian Pulisic

According to reports in Germany, Liverpool are preparing to do battle with Manchester United over the signing of Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic.

The American international has long been linked with a move to Anfield as a result of his relationship with Jurgen Klopp, and it seems a summer pursuit could be launched in an attempt to recruit the youngster.

Klopp is understood to be an admirer of Pulisic and his talents following the pair’s time together at Dortmund, with the wide man’s reputation only enhancing since establishing himself as a key player at the Bundesliga side.

Manchester United, though, if Sport Bild (via [MEN](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-united-transfer-christian-pulisic-14253317)), are keen to land Pulisic themselves, despite Jose Mourinho having recently refuted claims that the Red Devils will move for an attacking player in the summer.

The 19-year-old is claimed to be considering his future at Dortmund, with Premier League interest clearly starting to build yet again.

Bayern Munich are also reportedly keen.
