# Liverpool showing strong interest in Inter Milan’s Sebastiano Esposito

Liverpool have reportedly joined a host of European giants, including rivals Manchester United, in the race to sign Inter Milan forward Sebastiano Esposito.

According to FC Inter News, cited by [HITC](https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/06/27/report-liverpool-showing-strongest-interest-in-sebastiano-esposi/), the Reds are showing ‘the strongest interest’ in the forward who has scored 41 times in 59 appearances for Inter Milan’s youth sides.

The 16-year-old has featured once for Inter Milan’s senior side and is being eyed by Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain after an impressive 12-month spell.

Esposito is regarded as a future star and has also scored 14 goals in 20 appearances for Italy’s Under 17 side.

The report doesn’t suggest a proposed fee for the forward, however, it does look as if the Reds are extremely keen on the player.

Liverpool announced the signing of highly-rated defender Sepp van den Berg on Thursday, beating the likes of Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Bayern Munich for the 17-year-old, and Esposito could well be another bright prospect making the move to Merseyside this summer.
