**Liverpool have been informed about the availability of Argentina international Nico Gaitain.**

Paris St Germain, Valenica and Manchester United are also linked with the Benfica player.

However, any bid for the 27 year old will have to surpass £20 million as per Benfica’s valuation of him.

He can play on both sides, which is the sort of asset that appeals to Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.

Since joining Benfica from Boca Juniors in 2010, Gaitain has made over 120 appearances and has scored more than 20 goals as well as two international goals in nine appearances for Argentina.
