The season is near to completion and the summer transfer window is on the horizon.

Liverpool have already found themselves [linked](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/all-about/liverpool-fc-transfer-news) with an abundance of talent across Europe.

However, despite the rumours, the Red are reportedly still yetto decide on their strategy for the upcoming window.

As cited by [Anfield Watch](https://twitter.com/AnfieldWatch) on Twitter, there is still plenty for the club to decide on prior to the window.

Players that have found themselves sidelined for much of the current season will likely be on their way out.

Not only this, but the sales of those fringe players will no doubt have an impact on the players that the club signs.

With funds sparse compared to previous transfer windows, it will more than likely be a ‘sell to buy’ method.

There has been plenty of news surrounding departures and arrivals, with the Reds already heavily reported on.

Veteran midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is set to leave on a free transfer meaning a replacement will need to be found.

As well as that, the Reds are on the search for a new centre-back with [RB Leipzig’s Ibrahima Konaté heavily linked](https://readliverpoolfc.com/2021/04/30/liverpool-to-sign-konate/).

It will no doubt be an interesting summer for the club given the season we have just experienced.

Liverpool will be wanting to come back with avengance after this poor campaign.

This will no doubt require a few reinforcements, so expect to see some new faces at Anfield in the coming months.
